Things to Do in Plymouth

Beaches on the coast are close too. Why not take a trip underwater and discover the weird and wonderful creatures of the deep at the National Marine Aquarium. Additionally while here you can enjoy yourself on a Tamar Cruise. These boats leave from the Mayflower Steps. on board you will enjoy one hour cruises around Plymouth Hoe and Drakes Island and then up the River Tamar.

Must See Attractions

The landmark of Smeatons Tower cannot be missed. This old lighthouse was moved when it was discovered the sea was undermining its foundations. Each stone was removed and painstakingly they rebuilt it where you can see it today. You can also take all the family on the Plymouth Wheel. The views over the city and harbour from the 60 metre height are ones your will remember.
