Overview

Situated in a vibrant area of the city, Haymarket, this is a perfect base to use for tourists. This is a great value bed and breakfast that comes with great personal service.

The Haymarket in Edinburgh, where we are located, is a trendy and lively area of the city. Its centre is about 10 minutes walk to the East of us. This area is teaming with delightful pubs, cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy. But, it is not only this area that makes us a great choice. There is also the fact that the Train station (5 minutes walk) and subway stations (4 minutes Southeast) are only a short walk from the front door here. So stay nearby and have a great time or go into the centre and have a great time. Its all very easy to do from here.

This is a good value option for those on a budget for sure. But. it also has a lot to offer general travellers. The rooms are of reasonable size for a start and that is always a good thing. The bathrooms here are somewhat compact but they are kept very clean. The decor is what you would expect from a b&b and is tasteful, to an extent.

What really makes it a super value choice is that along with the really cheap room prices your hosts are tremendously hospitable. You will be wanting for nothing. Any hints you require about what to see and whats nearby they will tell you. They will go a long way to make sure you enjoy yourself both, in your room and in the city. Also they have great local knowledge about eating out around here. So the best restaurants will be just a phone call away when you stay.

Getting to the train and subway in Haymarket from here is easy. Simply come out of the door here and turn left. Walk strait down to the end of Coates Garden and turn left again. Walking along here for 50 metres brings you to Haymarket subway stop and lots of buses too. A little further on the same side of the road and you can see the train station. If you carry on up the road you are on, Clifton Terrace, you will soon see all the restaurants, bars, shops and cafes.
