Overview

Placed well about 15 minutes walk from Princes Street on the border of the New Town. Rooms here are cheap, simply decorated and furnished but, reasonably comfortable.

Our situation is one of the best you can get in an Edinburgh guest house. We are just of the edge of the New Town. That means all the shopping along Princes Street starts for you after a 15 minute walk. Also all the restaurants along Rose Street are just 12 minutes walk South. Not to forget the cultural centre, Edinburgh West End is even closer than this when you stay here.

Your room here are simple but, very adequate for a guest house at these low prices. The furniture and decoration is very traditional in a effort to make you feel right at home. We keep the prices of the rooms low by producing things in a homely fashion. The area is quite quiet for the city centre as we are just out of it. That means you will be able to get a good nights sleep here.

The New Town is considered the economic hub of the modern city. It is also considered one of the best examples of town planning in the Western World. The way they managed to keep alive most of the Georgian architecture with the neo-classical design is stunning. A really fabulous choice of places to stay in the city.
