Overview

We are situated just 3 miles form the centre of the city and 4 miles from the International Airport. A friendly and helpful team of staff are on hand to greet you and ensure your stay is harmonious and relaxing. Everything you will need for your stay away with excellent ensuite rooms. All of them are fully equipped and nicely decorated. Family and Executive rooms are also available.

With a selection of restaurants along with a cafe bar with the option to take it easy inside the bar following dinner. An indulgence in itself simply to stay here prior to or perhaps following venturing on faraway excursions. Spoil yourself with a visit to the Spirit Health and Fitness Club. It should have in it a full gym, swimming pool and then relax in the sauna and jacuzzi. Try out the beauty treatments and come out there glowing and feeling completely new.

Excellent facilities for those on business with the added advantage of hosting those important conferences and meetings in house - we can cater for up to 110 guests with modern technology and support.

Make time to pop in to the nearby city of Edinburgh - there's a wealth of shopping to be enjoyed - Princess Street is the main strip - pick up those favourite specialities of Scotland - shortbread, whisky, scones and something in tartan as a keep sake. Treat yourself in the many stores - some of the best woollens in the world are found here and then perhaps go and see the Castle.

Since we are right next door to the Zoo - take advantage of a visit with the children and enjoy the fun.

Head back after a busy day out and relax in easy going surroundings, dine in house and be ready for your start the next day.

Guest Reviews of Holiday Inn Edinburgh

Lee-Anne‘s Rating: 4.1/5
Lee-Anne travelling as: Young couple

Overall: Pool and Spa facilities are very good, but small. You should book ahead of time. The beautican on site is very nice and I would recommend a pamper if you have the time. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was very busy and you had to cue for the cooked food, although the food was very good.

Bad Stuff: Hotel room was very small, although okay for an overnight stay. Breakfast was a bit manic on the Sunday morning- busy.

Good Stuff: Good hotel with excellent facilities and good transport links to and from city center. Hotel very clean.

Bad Stuff: I thought the reception was unwelcoming and almost on the line of being rude or cold. The toilet did not function very well. A mini bar could have been nice.

Good Stuff: I liked the fact that it was very close to a bus stop that takes you to the city centre and the user friendly online booking system.
