Overview

The Windsor is one of the most elegant of small accommodation establishments in Bath. It is teaming with olde worlde character that you can indulge in while you stay. You will also be able to take away great memories of a fabulous stay from here in travel tales that will last a lifetime. Pretty and charming colour scheme will have you smiling with delight as soon as you enter.

When you stay in this lovely, well kept, clean guest house you are within easy walking distance Bath’s attractions. Nothing is far away from you here. Your walk into town is simply out the front door, turn left. That road takes you to and then across the world famed, shop lined, Pulteney Bridge. It will take you about 3 minutes to get there. From here over the other side of the bridge is the East end of Bath Abbey. A little further, going around the Abbey and you are at the Roman Baths.

The rooms themselves are pleasantly decorated. They have all the you will require for a comfortable stay in them. Some of our downstairs rooms have a patio for you to enjoy during the summer.

Staff here are very professional and it shows. We can help make your stay a nice one. If you want to find out where the very best places in town are to eat, just ask. If you are looking for something a bit cheap and cheerful, we can also be of help there. If we are able to help we will. So don't be shy, just ask.

This is a luxury and very splendid town house hotel in Bath. Being part of the most renowned of Georgian boulevards in Europe you will be made to feel very comfortable here. We refurbished the hotel to the highest of standards for you while keeping much of the buildings original character both Georgian and Victorian.

We have parking permits for you along with eight garaged parking spaces for your vehicles.

This is a totally non-smoking establishment. We welcome children over the age of 12 with their families.

Overall: Staff were friendly and the accomodation was good and located in a beautiful Georgian terrace but without a wow factor inside . A great location near to the town centre and I was given a garage for my car round the back .

Bad Stuff: Decor not as cutting edge as one would expect from a boutique hotel .

Good Stuff: Very well located for central Bath and the sights

Paul‘s Rating: 3.1/5
Paul travelling as: Mature couple

Overall: This hotel has three levels and no lift. For those on the third floor this means dragging luggage up five flights of stairs, the last of which is a narrow spiral staircase. Although the 100lb tiny woman who checkd us in offered to help, it did not make much sense. Added to this, when we were there the nights were warm. Since the hotel was not airconditioned we had to sleep with the windows open. This would have normally been quite comfortable but Bath was hosting a volleyball tournament on the rugby pitch behnd the hotel, where several hundred volleyball players camped. The noisy parties lasted until 3am or so making it difficult to sleep with the open windows.

Good Stuff: Easy access to Central Bath attractions. Neat clean rooms; helpful staff; excellent full English breakfast
